The Lallantop is closely covering the #FarmersProtest happening in and around Delhi. Farmers unions are demanding from the union government to roll back the newly enacted farm act, 2020, amendments in the electricity act, 2003 and ordinance for air quality management in NCR+ region. Farmers' unions are claiming that these are anti-people, anti-farming laws which must be repealed immediately. Whereas, Govt- right from the PM Narendra Modi to HM Amit Shah, RM Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar are giving assurance to farmers and are stating 'these acts are for the betterment of farmers and farming.'
